As the daylight hours grew shorter, campus was thankful for opportunities to serve, have a little fun, and for two memorable but very different home football games.

Rave Reviews

Mendoza College of Business MBA students held a "silent rave" in downtown South Bend. Students were given over-the-ear headphones to listen to three different DJs along with an assortment of glow-in-the-dark accessories for an immersive sensory experience. (Photos by Evan Cobb)

Moonlit Memorial

Annual Veterans Day vigil at the Clarke Memorial Fountain

Army, Navy and Air Force Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) cadets and midshipmen kept vigil for 24 hours at the Clarke Memorial Fountain, known best on campus as "Stonehenge." Cadets and midshipmen had 30-minute shifts, and at the conclusion of the 24 hours, a celebration was held in honor of Veterans Day. (Photo by Heather Gollatz-Dukeman)

Snow Bowl

Notre Dame's last home football game of the season was memorable for the shutout win but probably more memorable for the weather. The 44-0 win over Boston College was among the coldest and snowiest Notre Dame football games in decades.
